II. KNOW THE DATES
GENERAL
- November 8, 2022
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 24, 2022 - Deadline to register to vote for the general election
Ballot Request Deadlines:
- November 1, 2022 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to request and return a completed absentee ballot application to your county office
Ballot Return Deadlines:
- November 8, 2022 at 8 p.m. - Deadline to return a completed absentee ballot (via mail or hand delivery to your county board of elections)
- November 15, 2022 - Deadline for County Board of Elections to receive military and overseas completed absentee ballots (submitted for delivery no later than November 7 at 11:59 p.m.)
Registered voters in Pennsylvania who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application online or to their local county election office as early as possible.

IV. WHERE TO VOTE
Polling Location:
- School, firehouse or community center, use the Pennsylvania Secretary of State Polling Place Locator to find where to cast your ballot.
V. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws:
- Pennsylvania only required a valid photo ID for first-time voters.
Accepted Credentials:

Don't have a valid ID?
- You can use a non-photo identification that includes your name and address. Check the list of accepted documents here.
