II. KNOW THE DATES
General Election:
- November 3, 2020.
General Registration Deadline:
- Post received by October 5, 2020;
- In-person request by October 5, 2020; and
- Online by October 14, 2020.
Deadline to Request Mail-In Ballot:
- Louisiana is not allowing mail-in voting due to COVID-19.
- If you're eligible, request your absentee ballot from your town/city clerk as early as possible. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 30, 2020.

IV. WHERE TO VOTE
Polling Location:
- School, firehouse or community center, this simple form will tell you where to go to cast your ballot.

Do I need to wear a mask to the polls?
- Technically no. Although masks are "strongly recommended" at the polls, they aren't required.
V. COVID-19 MAIL-IN VOTING & ABSENTEE VOTING
Louisiana is not allowing mail-voting due to COVID-19. However, some people are eligible for absentee votingbased on age, disability, or other considerations:

VI. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws:
- Louisiana requires photo identification in order to vote.
Accepted Credentials:

- Contact your Registrar of Voters for an acceptable list of options.
Don't have a valid ID?
- If you're unable to provide ID, you may still cast your vote by signature on a voter affidavit.
