II. KNOW THE DATES
GENERAL
- November 8, 2022
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 11, 2022 - Deadline to register to vote online, in person, or by mail.
Ballot Request Deadlines:
- October 27, 2022 - Final day to request and return a completed absentee ballot application.
Ballot Return Deadline:
- November 8, 2022 - Absentee ballots (via mail or in person) must be received by 6 p.m.
Registered voters in Indiana who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application to their local county election office as soon as possible.

IV. WHERE TO VOTE
Polling Location:
- School, firehouse or community center, this simple form will tell you where to go to cast your ballot.

V. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws:
- Indiana requires photo identification to vote.
Accepted Credentials:
- Here is the list of accepted credentials.
- Contact your polling place for an acceptable list of options.
Don't have a valid ID?
- If you are unable or unwilling to present ID meeting these requirements, you may cast a provisional ballot. If you cast a provisional ballot, you have until noon 10 days after the election to follow up with the county election board and either provide the necessary documentation or affirm one of the law's exemptions applies to you.
